“Farewell, old year, we walk no more together; I catch the sweetness of thy latest sigh…Here in the dim light of a grey December, we part in smiles, and yet we met in tears. Watching thy chilly dawn, I well remember…”Sarah Doudney

National Women Support Women Day

Women, intelligent and intuitive, can do so much daily that it is inspiring to see what we may accomplish as a society if we work together. It is fulfilling and precious to help another woman recognize her value.

National Women Support Women Day is celebrated on December 1st, every year. This event helps women connect with each other and with previous generations and stand strong against the inequality that they still must face in today’s world.

For many years, far too many women have lived their entire lives under a system of society or government in which men hold the power and women are largely excluded from it, also known as Patriarchy. Visionary feminism is a wise and loving politics. It is rooted in the love of male and female being, refusing to privilege one over the other. The soul of feminist politics is the commitment to ending patriarchal domination of women and men, girls and boys. Love cannot exist in any relationship that is based on domination and coercion. Males cannot love themselves in patriarchal culture if their very self-definition relies on submission to patriarchal rules. When men embrace feminist thinking and practice, which emphasizes the value of mutual growth and self-actualization in all relationships, their emotional well-being will be enhanced. A genuine feminist politics always brings us from bondage to freedom, from lovelessness to loving. Women have to constantly critique imperialist white supremacist patriarchal culture because it is normalized by mass media and rendered unproblematic. Being female in this world means having been robbed of the potential for human choice by men who love to hate us. One does not make choices in freedom. Instead, one conforms in body type and behavior and values to become an object of male sexual desire, which requires an abandonment of a wide-ranging capacity for choice...

It supports women's empowerment

  • This day provides an opportunity to raise awareness about women's issues, such as violence against women, discrimination against women, and sexual harassment in the workplace. It also allows us to express our solidarity with them by supporting them financially or morally.

It celebrates women's achievements

  • We often forget that women have made substantial progress in various fields, like science and politics. We must celebrate their achievements by recognizing their contributions to making our society better than ever!

It is a perfect time to express solidarity

  • On this day, women stand together and celebrate their achievements, showing gratitude to one another. This puts an end to the misogynistic ideology that women are jealous and envious of each other. Now, it is the time for women to lift, empower, and encourage each other in the face of adversity.

Celebrating International Day of People with Disability
World Disability Day aims at increasing public awareness, understanding and accepting people with disability and celebrating their achievements and contributions. The observance of the day focuses to increase awareness of persons with disabilities in every aspect of poltical, social, economic and cultural life. “It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen"
— Muhammad Ali
It is critical to consider quality of life and creating an environment that shares space for kindness, inclusivity, and love. A societal desire to change inequities are usually determined through a relevant connection. Impact is usually how action is initiated and impact usually transpires when a person or thing is directly affected. Empowering persons with disabilities and ensuring inclusiveness and equality. In addressing inequalities, systems need to give priority towards creating equal opportunities for all members of humanity. The way we think about differences can be the biggest barrier for addressing the unfair treatment of others—people fear what they don’t understand.  Human rights, sustainable development, and peace and security all depend on the inclusion of people with disabilities.
